Acceptance
By installing or using SocialClipSaver (the "app"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
What the app does
SocialClipSaver is a client utility that takes a URL you provide, asks the source platform for the public media file at that URL, and saves the result to your device. The app does not host, redistribute, or store media on any server we operate.
Your responsibilities
- Respect copyright. Only save content you own or have the explicit permission of the rights holder to save. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use complies with applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.
- Follow each source platform's terms. You must comply with the terms of service of every platform you fetch content from (e.g. TikTok, Instagram, X, Facebook).
- Personal use. The app is intended for personal, non-commercial use. Redistribution, resale, or sharing of saved content beyond what the original rights holder allows is your responsibility.
- No abuse. Do not use the app to circumvent platform-level paywalls, DRM, or access controls.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
- Reverse engineer, modify, or attempt to derive source code of the app, except as expressly permitted by law.
- Use the app to harvest content at scale or in a manner that would constitute a denial of service against a source platform.
Advertising
The app is free and ad-supported via Google AdMob. Ads may be shown before downloads. A future Premium upgrade will allow you to remove ads.
Disclaimers
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranty that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will succeed in saving any particular video. Source platforms may change their APIs, layouts, or terms at any time, which may cause specific features to stop working.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SocialClipSaver and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising out of your use of the app.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the app at any time, with or without notice, for any conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
Changes
We may update these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date will reflect any change. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
